REMINDER: be specific about what you want. Don’t leave any area for misinterpretation. (i.e. I want to request a cover for my album. I want the cover to have minimalistic typography but flashy illustration art. I would like the cover to mostly have red and yellow and include visuals of a king sitting on his throne. I would prefer the illustration to be a portrait that does not show his body but that can be changed. I need his crown and his scepter in the image. He should have a smug face exposing his gold teeth and should be of African Descent. He should have green eyes, and the album name is “I am King”. The album artist is me “Ben Ford”. My stage name is B Nasty. You can ask me any clarifying questions if need be).

How does the process work?
- After your initial email. You will get an email back under the name klainemart@gmail.com
- The email includes a price listing and a contract asking you to sign. The contract is a PDF so just send one back with your signature.
- After that we set up an avenue of contact (email, Zoom, phone number) and you pay your deposit through an invoice on Paypal.
- As soon as the payment is confirmed, The drafting process will start with you heavily involved. We will talk through each draft and any modifications you want. After the 3rd draft, the price goes up by 40 for each new draft.
- Then a 30/50/90 deliverable system will be set with you. At each stage a new screenshot will be shared with you. This process can go really fast or really slow depending on the artist and his work load. Sometimes the process will finish faster than you respond.
- Before the final deliverable, you will be sent a final invoice asking for the rest of the payment initially talked about. (You can work out a different pay system as necessary in order to have all payments done BEFORE final deliverable.
- Then a final deliverable in both black and white and color will be sent to you via Dropbox. Along with any other deliverables we discussed.
- You will receive a thank you note from the artist along with a survey asking about service.

How pricing works for Graphic Art?
There is an original down payment of $80 which covers the drafting stage. You pay for the draft to be completed. Afterwards is a rate payment which would be $30 an hour. This usually racks up to a payment higher than the down payment which is the majority of the cost. For example, the work took me 5 hours to complete which puts you at $150 plus the initial $80 making it $230. This $150 can be paid in full before the final deliverable or it can be in installments over time.
The complete price/flat rate will be told to you BEFORE starting the project. So, in this case, right after you email me, I would tell you that your price is $230. You can choose to pay that in full as well but you need at least $80 for me to start the project.
